Anna Buck resumed a life-long love of drawing and painting in 2007, when she enrolled at TAFE. She went on to complete Certificate IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft, gaining distinctions for her work, and has been included in many group exhibitions during the following years, including the Meroogal Art Prize for women and the Bega Valley Art Awards. Her work is seen consistently at Bega’s Spiral Gallery.
She experiments in media, being drawn to a combination of paint and collage, and is influenced by print makers such as Ethel Spowers and Dorrit Black. She enjoys depicting life in the Bega Valley and surrounding area, particularly its rivers and the enjoyment derived from them.
