Spiral Gallery is an artist-run art gallery in Bega that supports contemporary art practice through creative exhibitions.

Spiral Gallery Co-operative Limited is a not-for-profit artists-run cooperative established in 1997. The Gallery caters to a broad range of artists and offers the chance to use and share a professional exhibition space as well as to connect, and exchange artistic dialogue and informal mentoring.

Spiral Gallery plays a major role in the community by promoting and supporting arts practice in the Bega Valley region; offering opportunities for established and emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work. The gallery promotes contemporary and innovative art practice through its frequently changing exhibition program.  The gallery hosts solo shows, community group shows and exhibitions by the Spiral artists themselves.

Spiral Gallery's vision is to support and mentor artists in contemporary art practice and promote an artistic culture across the southeast NSW Community. Spiral Gallery fosters creativity, connection and growth in the careers of artists, and inspires passion and appreciation for arts and culture within our community.

Our goals include:

  1. Creative Industries - Exhibit and promote visual arts within our region.

  2. Offer an annual program of high-quality exhibitions

  3. Artist Support - Mentor and develop regional artists in their creative practice.

  4. Develop an artistic culture through community partnerships.

  5. Ensure best practice governance.
